What is Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™? Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™, exclusively provided by Global Vending Group (GVG), incentivizes students to read in a fun and creative way. The Bookworm program uses golden Inchy tokens as a reward for positive actions. Inchy tokens are redeemed by students for one free book to vend and keep.
How does the program work? Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™ works by using a Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program to encourage students to read more. Schools and organizations purchase the Bookworm and assign positive behaviors tailored to their needs that they would like to reward. Once the student demonstrates that positive behavior the student is rewarded with a special Inchy token which is then used to vend their favorite book.
What is the price of the machine? Price ranges from $4,995 to $6,300 depending on your needs. We have a complete outline of the program including customization of graphics, picture book trays, and warranties. How do we get service for our machine? Our dedicated service department is available for all customers, complete with a help desk to answer any questions. Many queries are easily handled in our online video help section and FAQs, and a live service technician is available to FaceTime with your team at the machine. Extended warranties are available up to five years on all brand-new machines.
Can I customize my machine for my school, hospital or church? How does that process work? Yes, you can! Our full service print shop and in-house art department allows us to offer fully customized machines. Our graphic designers and illustrators can provide backgrounds, images, and a portal to upload images of your choice. Putting these together, we produce unique one of a kind designs with amazing results!
What funding sources are available for your product?

There are dozens of funding sources, and we have forged strong relationships with many of them. Check out or new collaboration with Read-A-Thon.  Funding can also receive from many foundations, and Title One funding, ESSER funding, and regional literacy grants are also available.

PTO/PTA organizations are a huge proponent of Inchy. DonorsChoose is also a very popular fundraising organization that offers matching funding.

Where do we get books?

Typically, books can be ordered from your current supplier. Scholastic, Usborne,  and Barnes & Noble also offer school programs.

We assist by having the sizes of the books laid out in a diagram sent to you in your initial quote. Chapter books range from 5.0 inches to 5.5 inches. Picture book sizes and custom trays are also available.

How long does it take to receive our machine from the time the order is placed?

Typically, standard machines are shipped 4-6 weeks after an order is placed. Custom machines usually ship in six weeks.
