Can our foundation or club choose which school to sponsor? Absolutely. Many organizations like to support a school in their own community or district. You can either select a school partner directly, or we can help match you with one that’s in need of literacy support.

How much does it cost to sponsor a Book Vending Machine? A full sponsorship typically ranges from $6,000–$8,000, depending on customization and book quantity. Some clubs choose to fund the entire project, while others co-sponsor with a PTO or local business.

Will our club or foundation receive recognition on the machine? Each sponsored machine can be customized with your logo, organization name, or a dedication plaque—for example, “Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Springfield.” Many sponsors also celebrate with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, which is an excellent opportunity for local media coverage.

Can this project qualify for our literacy or youth service grant requirements? In most cases, yes. Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine™ directly supports literacy, youth engagement, and character education — all common objectives for foundation and service club grants. We can provide supporting language, impact statements, and W-9 documentation for your application.
