Tokens in, books out.
Inchy's Bookworm Vending Machine is a token-operated system that rewards students for good behavior. Here's the whole program in four steps.
-
1
Choose a reward program
Pick the behaviors you want to reward: PBIS, student recognition, attendance or birthdays.
-
2
Hand out golden tokens
A teacher gives a golden Inchy token to a student who earned it, for academics or behavior.
-
3
Choose a book
Students exchange their golden Inchy token for a free book of their choice.
-
4
Keep it
The book is theirs to keep and add to their home library.
Let's Get Reading! Station your machine in a high traffic location and use it often. Promote your program on social media, in newsletters and in the classroom.
